Trinity College

I’m a final year student at Trinity college at the moment. Place is lovely during term time, a bit too crowded during tourist season. Can’t wait to leave though!!:D

Trinity College…what can I say the architecture and the Art!
Do there bt not during the tourist season…its very busy,go there during term time when the students are there…I will be there…There is a great atmoshere when the students are there!

I went through the college very briefly and went back to the tour bus and sat with the driver who was from Dublin and chatted about life over a few cigarettes. I know some people will be appauled at this, but it was one of the most enjoyable trips and times of my life. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the locals and learning more about their culture.

I went to college here for 4 years, made some wonderful friends and had a fantastic time.

Was student teaching in a school in Blackrock, suburb of Dublin. Saw a play at Trinity college called “Sus.” (I think that was the name….long ago). It was about a law regarding the police being allowed to hold a suspect for a period of time sans habeas corpus. A guy from the tv show “The East Enders” (from England) was in it. I do remember having to go through the fireplace to get to the loo. I assume it’s still the same.

I think I was meeting a friend nearby, IIRC, so to kill time I wandered about the grounds a bit, and enjoyed the sights and sounds. So while I can’t say much more about the college than that, regrettably, I did get a good history fix, as it were, and it struck me as a fun place to go for a year’s study, if I were given the opportunity!

I was in Dublin for only a day. I wandered the College grounds. I enjoyed the architecture and the many beautiful and interesting sculptures which were on display there.

One item of curiosity that I uncovered: there was a building with a sign on the outside which read “Smurfit Institute of Genetics.” I had always wondered where they had developed that race of little blue people.

My dad went to trinity and we visit it every time we go to Ireland. It’s a beautiful place right in the heart of downtown Dublin.
