Moody Gardens

I went to the moody gardens when I was 14. I LOVED it! I was visiting Texas for the first time, and I have to say: I was NOT a fan of that hot and sweaty state. But going to the moody gardens changed my experience. I went into the rain forest and a butterfly actually landed on my shoulder. It was so sweet. I will never forget that place. I would reccomend this place to anyone.

A fun place to go for a day or two. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been here. The Aquarium is the best!

I love the 3-D IMAX!!!! I have to visit this every time I’m in Galveston!! :)

I guess I’ve been pretty spoiled in my visits to other aquariums and rain forest exhibits; but I wasn’t that impressed with Moody Gardens. The attractions are over priced. I’m not saying it was bad, and I did enjoy myself there, it just didn’t impress me quite the way other similar attractions have in the past.

...but sadly I don’t remember it. It gets jumbled with all the other museums/field-trips/family vacations. :(

..but I know for a fact I had fun.

I took my daughter here for her birthday one year and we really had a good time. There is a lot to do and see. Very well laid out.

The tickets are a little expensive, but overall its worth the trip.
