Milwaukee Summerfest

2007 in July.
We ended up seeing Heart. The Wilson sisters put on a great show!!

I grew up going to Summerfest almost every year. I’ve seen Meatloaf, No Doubt, Brian McKnight and Mary J Blige at the ampitheater, among many more I can’t remember. The midway is huge, and I have yet to find a festival anywhere that can compare. Even fireworks are nothing compared to The Big Bang!

Two summers ago I witnessed the majesty that is Journey preform their entire catalogue in chronological order… I don’t think I could have been more fulfilled.

Pat McCurdy definitely makes waiting around in a hail storm worth it.

Summerfest is the place to go. Free music and excellent food…plus a bunch of drunks to make you smile. It’s a sweaty, loud, drunken, 10 day fiesta. I recommend it!

The best music festival in the world!

I went in 2005 for the first time and it was a blast!!

It’s sooo crowded now it has lost it’s appeal. Prices have gone way up too. I do recommend visiting the lakefront and the grounds also host many other festivals during the summer.
