Michigan State University aka: MSU, M.S.U., Michigan-State

I was a senior in high school, and my wanderlust had yet to kick in. I’d never drive more than an hour from home. Then I drove for 2 to take a tour. I was greeted by the most beautiful campus I could imagine. Everyone seemed so smart, so perfect.

I chose to attend here, and only regret it when I write my student loan payments. I loved it. I had such fun, grew so much, fell in love a million times and a million ways.

I was at this campus btw 1980 and 1984. The best four years of my life! Oh, to have so few responsibilities again!

Four long years in the Midwest…not exactly what I planned on but did it anyway. I made some amazing friends, got a useless degree (but I loved the classes), and $40,000 debt. Would I do it again? YES.

This is where I went to college.

It is nice for a short visit. The Campus has a beautiful bike path; East Lansing old homes are quaint to see and they have fantastic horticulture program here. Beautiful to see the handiwork.

Otherwise, the middle of the state is a barren, boring area. Dull. It is quiet if you have to go to school here.

I am finishing my freshman year at MSU. I absolutely love it here. The campus is so beautiful any time of the year. It’s a great place to go to school!

Just before going to Dutch universities I decided to look around at the American University system. I really enjoyed the openness and size of MSU. I (as a 17 year old) did a third year summer course on consumer behavior.

Went here for a weekend and had a blast. Its a small town with about 45,000 students. Tailgated at a football game starting at 8:00am and partied all day. I suggest it but I guess you need to know someone there to tell you where to go.
