Lloret De Mar

Lloret de Mar stays in my memories as disticnctly unforgettable place, altough I enjoyed journey there much more than actual staying. We travelled there by hitchhike with a friend and we got there in three days. It was very adventerous and I learned a lot about myself on this trip. However, when we arrived, we werent able to get a job and I didnt like the spot at all. Too many night clubs, too many people, too crowded beach, nothing really interesting to see. Three years later I enjoyed much more stay in Andaluzia!

Love the castle, but don’t like the city itself. It looks like some version of Las Vegas..:/

I know Lloret de Mar is a typical touristic city with lots of hotels, pubs and discos…but I’ve enjoyed my staying there very much!!! Great beach, amazing landscapes, friendly people… I recommend St. TROP -realy cool club! ;)
I’d like to go there back next holidays…any volounteers to go with me? :>

If you’re looking to party, this may be your place. If you’re also looking for museums, history, etc., don’t bother.

I enjoyed my stay here but I probably wouldn’t go back simply because there are far more impressive places that I’m looking forward to exploring.

I was here when I was a teenager and my visit coincided with a junior soccer tournament….there were hot guys everywhere. I thought I’d gone to heaven.

I’ve been here twice on spring break when I was in high school. You can get hotels right on the beach dirt cheap. You can get around pretty easily on mopeds – but watch out. The people there are aggressive drivers. Watch out for pic-pockets too.

I went there in march 2001 with a big group of friends. The town is nothing special. What I do remember were the discotheques, and the bodega’s. And the general atmosphere of partying and relaxing. I wouldn’t go there again, but I did have a nice time.
So, go there if you want to party with a bunch of friends. If you’re looking for more, you won’t find it here…

Lloret de Mar is a very beautiful place. The beaches,the hotels…everything. I wish I can go there again!!

It could be worth isiting, if it wasn’t so much tourist-crap in the whole city. That’s the only thing you se. A beach, shops with tourist t-shirts and bars/discoteques.
