National Aquarium aka: Baltimore Aquarium

I’m a big fish nerd (but not big enough to find out the proper term for it). This place is truly world class. They let you swim with box-jellyfish! Ok, that wouldn’t probably be the smartest move, but you can touch star fish and the rain forest room is just awesome. I could easily lose a day in that place.

You can actually dive the aquarium (well, the coral reef tank and the ray tray). As a certified diver, you can take a one-day course and afterwards get in with the fishes! The ray tray was really cool and the big turtle there is almost too friendly!

I have a membership and enjoy going all the time. The dolphin show just got revamped and the Australia exhibit is amazing.

I visit here about once a year because I love it. I’m twenty-two and I never tire of seeing the fish. I always love seeing the sting rays and the shark room, and the rainforest is always a treat. It doesn’t take extremely long to do so if you visit Baltimore, you should check it out.

The aquarium is phenomenal, but your time is best spent exploring the facilities. Unless your kids threaten never to forgive you, skip the dolphin show.

I was seven or eight. I haven’t been back since. All I remember is the sharks. I love sharks. I would like to go there again so I can remember more than the sharks, but that will have to be the next time I am in Baltimore.

I went there for a birthday with my best friend at the time. I have always had a strange fear of fish and he took me there to help me. It didn’t… I actually had a panic attack but it was a good idea lol. -Kimberleigh

I’ve had so much fun everytime I visit the aquarium.

I haven’t been here for a while, but I used to go here more often, especially when I was a kid. good times, especially the dolphin shows. :]
