Savannah Georgia is very haunted. We plan to go next October (2009)

River Street has musicians and tourists and shops and food and drinks and tours. Almost every night I was there we wandered down River Street looking for some fun – and we always found it.

Many artists performing all kinds of music, selling paints and all. Will try the restaurants this evening, they look awesome!

We drove over to Savannah when we were on vacation @ Tybee Island last July and walked down River Street. It would have been great if I had not fell half way down River Street and we had to cut it short: ( I want to go back!!! Oh yeah it the the HOTTEST day of the year!!!!!!!!! Great Jazz playing by the water and the boats coming in are HUGE!!! Very nice!!

You can literally spend all day on River Street and not run out of things do see and do.

The history there is amazing and so relevant to everythng that is Savannah… and the whole country, for that matter.

And it’s beautiful.

my favorites are the greek restaurant (i think it’s called cafe olympus, but i’m not sure), the cotton exchange restaurant & kevin barry’s irish pub. and you must get something from the candy store. it’s soooo good! also, check out the open market on the side of the street closest to the water. lots of neat stuff from local merchants!

Good place for honeymooners, lovers, or those who like to watch other people.

Another beautiful place in Savannah.

While I was a student living in Savannah, I was arrested on River Street for not wearing a wristband during the St. Patrick’s day party. It kind of ruined it for me.
