Easton is the best shopping area in Columbus by far. There are a nice mix of chain stores and unique stores to the central Ohio area (Crate & Barrel, the Apple store, etc) plus restaurants, Gameworks, a comedy club, and a movie theater. The outdoor area is one-of-a-kind for central Ohio with nicely landscaped outdoor shopping. Gets busy on the weekends, but the parking is free and never hard to find a place to park.

By far my favorite place in Columbus to buy stuff.

Easton is built to be reminisent of the 1950’s. There is a mall part, and then many outdoor stores. The whole thing is set up to allow you to enjoy the atmosphere as you walk around; there’s an old-style diner even, red telephone booths, a fountain area, and a gigantic McDonalds’s with a large play area for kids. Gigantic Virgin Megastore and Barnes & Nobles as well as several other large stores outside of the mall. Large movie theater, too. There are hotels nearby as well, so you could make a weekend trip out of it. Lots of restaurants and stores. A great place to spend money.

This (mostly) open-air shopping mall is a great place to go window shopping… and add a few things to your Wish List. :)

The Cheesecake Factory is my favorite restaurant. A+++. (YUM!)
