Edmond

I already said I grew up here and now we’re back to raise our own family. We came back because of all the places we’ve lived Oklahoma has the friendliest people and we have family here. I’d love to say there is a lot of unique activities and scenery but after falling in love with the Colorado back-country there is just no comparison.

I love all the community activities offered by the City of Edmond. It is a very unique, safe, and enjoyable enviornment to raise a family. The people are very involved in the community. I will say from a child’s perspective this is the only city I lived in as a child where it was NOT considered “uncool” to go to church. Many of the kids that didn’t attend church either said they did or ended up finding a church.

Grew up here. not worth visiting, but is certainly a nice place to live

I moved to Edmond when I was 10. If you are looking for a good place to raise a family, this is it. If you are looking for open-mindedness, natural beauty, or any kind of intellectual stimulation… Go somewhere else.

Another small town although it is developing a bit commercially. Edmond is kinda for rich people and college students. You still have to commute to Oklahoma City for the majority of everything.

It’s not somewhere I’d vacation or anything but it’s a good place to raise a family.

I have lived in Edmond since i was 5. I think its a great place to grow up. Even though i will probably leave someday, i wouldnt mind raising a family here in the future.

There is nothing unique to tourist or traveler in this small suburban city (pop. 68,000). It is, however, a wonderful and safe place to live and raise a family.

I think its odd that Edmond, OK was listed by CNN as one of the top 10 places to visit for the 4th of July, but hey I won’t complain, even though I can think of plenty of more intresting places to be this Tuesday!

lives here. She refuses to move here to NH to be near me, so there must be something redeeming about Edmond. I wouldn’t want to live here though.
