Seattle Aquarium

there’s nothing like watching sea otters eat clams. :D

I stopped by the aquarium right at feeding time. The otters are cute as ever, but the surprise hit was a human in the giant local fish tank feeding a moray eel with squid. It was really neat to see the Moray eel outside of it’s hole.

We went in July. The line to get in can be rather long, but it was well worth the wait. There are a lot of great exhibits featuring local sea life, from sea stars, to octopus, to salmon, to otters.

Its under renovation right now – might want to wait until they finish next year.

For fifty bucks I got an annual membership with five guest passes included. (At twelve dollars per adult ticket I think that’s totally worth it.) That means I can see the otters whenever I want and treat friends who are visiting. Bring your tolerance for loud children and don’t miss the sea horses!

I really loved the round tank with the colored lights full of jelly fish. Nothing’s cooler than technicolored jelly fish!

I loved the day that I spent at the Aquarium. I spent time staring at the tide pools and had the chance to touch and hold many of the creatures living there. It is very well done and worth the time and money.

This place was beautiful. They have a tide pool where you can feel and see the ocean animals (the smaller ones of course) such as starfish and mullusks. They had some bigger tanks with jellyfish in there and eels. There was also a neat little gift shop and an imax theatre. It was really fun. It’s right on the pier. I went here with my family (including my mom) and so it was a really memorable experience for me since my mom is now gone.

first time to an aquarium and i went on my honeymoon. i loved it and would definately go again.

But still worth the visit..both inside and outside activities to watch. Especially, the first indoor round pool/pound that you get to.
