I love this place. I could spend days lost in this store.

I found a book that my Mom had been looking for for years, it was out of print and they had a very nice copy in good condition!

Went today with Kiri. After a few hours, the store is overwhelming, but in a good way. I think it’s important to have a “buddy” to keep you from having to take out a second mortgage to pay for all those great, new books.

This is so much better than any other bookstore in the world especially if you can read four books in a week. Trust any place I can get five used books just as if they were never used before and only spend twenty five bucks I am in love.

I have never been here without buying at least a few used books. When I lived in Oregon in 02. My uncle and I would return books, and with the 3x credit, buy more used books. I have an HR Giger book from there I will never get rid of.

THIS is the happiest place on Earth.

Combined with vastly more books than you can shake a stick at. Beats the living daylights out of The Strand.

When I lived in Portland, this was one of my favorite hangouts. I haven’t been back in 10 years but am taking a trip to Portland next month and my hotel is just a few blocks from here. HOO BOY!

I went with a friend, we got seperated, and had to call each other to find out where each other were. “Where are you? Purple Room? I’m back in the Green Room!”
It’s easy to get lost your first time :)
