University District

Stayed with a mate who was studying at the uni. Lots of cheap and filling places to eat within a few minutes of his apartment!

a lot of seattle can be inaccessible to non-scenesters and snooty. the u-dist is somewhat homey. i worked at roma and could always count on people on the porch to be friendly. there used to be a great brewpub on university ave that would sell a box o beer that was great. all in all, pretty fun bars and decent restaurants. great vegan buffets.

Got drunk, a lot.

...I think the one place around here I haven’t been to yet is the actual university itself.

I’ve lived in the University District since September and it’s a really nice area. The university is beautiful and the Ave has everything you could possibly want. I love it here.

Intereesting place, never been there at night, bet its a lot different. During the day its cool, lots of interesting people and shops, lots of good places to eat!

You don’t need a car if you live, work, and go to school in the University District. I lived here for four years, and did use my car for work but that was just about it. I always enjoyed being able to walk everywhere!
