Amazon Rainforest

It sounds so cool and amazing and green and unexplored and nature-y!!!!!!!!!!

It really feels like a different country; it’s so different from the rest of Peru.
We went to Iquitos, which, in itself, was not a great town. But, we booked a jungle lodge stay with Muyuna, which was amazing. We saw so many animals and walked through the rainforest. I woud recommend paying the extra money to go with a company further away from Iquitos. The cheaper lodges are closer to Iquitos and you aren’t likely to see much wildlife.
Also, we loved the butterfly farm, which should be in most guide books. The monkeys there were more amazing than the butterflies. They crawl all over you and are so fun to play with!

I think the amazon rain forest would smell of lushness and humidity. It would smell green , if you know what i mean. This place would be like paradise with beautiful waterfalls, birds, animals and butterflies.Also, i imagine it would be home to some of the most exotic flowers.

IT WAS TOTALY AMAZING FROM THE ANIMALS TO THE CABINS .EVERY THING WAS PERFECT AND SOOO PEACEFUL. I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT SOOOO MUCH THAT I EVEN BOUGHT A RANCH THERE. I TOOTALY RECOMEND THIS FOR ANY ONE THAT WANTS TO RELAX OR EXPLORE BUT BE CAREFUL THE MOSQUITOES ARE OUT TO GET U.

Ayahuasca experience :D

Because I can get there through Colombia (country taht I like a lot)...I´m sure is a really awsome place..I will like to learn about the indigenous people that live there..It has an amAzing wild life…THE PLANETS LUNGS!!..GOTTA GO THERE SOON…

Those damn pesky mosquitoes!!! Before you go to the Amazon, lay off the sugar and salt intake so your blood is less tasty for the blood suckers. Although we looked weird, we wore mosquito net hats to keep the many mosquitoes off our face. Wear long sleeves and pants when you go out in the jungle. Loved the jungle and hated the bugs. Can’t win them all…

Totally amazing! If you ever get the chance to go don’t turn it down! Aside from the amazing wildlife and scenery the people there are so kind and generous. I got to fish for piranah for tea, canoe on the Amazon and be woken up at 4am by Monkey’s “singing”. Loved every minute of my time there and can’t wait to go back someday!

Went here last summer. It was absolutely amazing. I really hope that someday I’ll go back here.
