I’m not saying frederick sucks, just…You can’t compare it to big cities. It doesn’t have any monuments, or anything like that…

it has a park made completly out of tires…and some reallly ghetto schools though. I would kind of reccomend baltimore, washington D.C. or annapolis, but frederick is kind of lame.

Frederick affectionately called Fredeneck is a great place to be. I moved here about three years ago and the area is really growing. It’s a great place to visit for all kinds of things. Around Halloween there are a lot of ghost tours inplaces like the supposedly haunted Civil War Medicine Musuem. Besides great restaurants like the Brewery and shops like the trendy Velvet Lounge there are excellent performaces at the Weinberg Theatre. I love that there are city opportunities here with historic charm and the beauty of nature just miles away in the mountains.

Frederick Is a Wonderful PLace to come after your established and want to raise children and live a family life. On the other hand growing up here in the lower income areas has allowed for many failed options. Without money there are know after school programs such as gymnastics marshall arts or base ball. There is one youth center and little encouragement. Many local children end up in jail.There are limited oppurtunitys.Alot of these people have now been driven out of their natural environment to the more rural area.Where they’ll definitely need cars.The new money is making Frederick Look great for tourist.Moving alot of people have helped that. Will that help the People?

I moved here about 2 1/2 years ago with my family.

It’s a pretty nice place, with landmarks and scenic drives. Here in Urbana, it is not a far drive (5 mins) to get to major malls and shopping centers. Frederick’s main shopping area (exit 31 on 270 highway) has tons of restaurants, a large movie theater, a big mall with an awesome arcade (it even has DDR!) and lots of neat stores.

I moved here from Montgomery Village/Germantown, and it’s only a 15 minute drive to see all my friends and do fun stuff down there, too.

I lived here for eighteen years of my life before moving to FL. IT is a great town, close to DC and close to Baltimore. It has good restaurants, schools, etc.

This is a nice quiet place to live, downtown there are a lot of restaurants to visit, museums to see. This is a historical place, with a lot of history. Over the years it has really expanded and more and more people from all over are moving here, and visiting.
