The Fillmore aka: The Fillmore San Francisco

I last went here in the end of November to see Matisyahu and it was just as great as the first time. The venue is beautiful and the workers are always helpful and good with crowd control.

In March I’m going to the Fillmore to see José González :D

...so why is mine the first entry? Oh the pressure to write something good! I’ve seen many bands at the Fillmore over the years. In fact, it’s the first venue I went to in San Francisco and I think it’s still my favorite. It’s not too big, just right for me. The atmosphere is nice inside. Though I’ve never taken advantage of it, the venue offers free apples. Finding parking is not too bad and if you want to meet the band to sign your CD, it’s pretty easy to do that too.

This was Bill Graham’s major concert venue and it’s still host to a lot of great shows. My brother won tickets to Thievery Corporation, which I wrote a little bit about on my Xanga

I do want to go back to the Fillmore and I’ve missed a few shows that I wanted to see (The Futureheads). Here are some Fillmore shows that I want to go to:
