Alhambra

For anyone who likes architecture, this is a MUST!

The Alhambra is an amazing place to visit. It is nice b/c going there I thought it was going to be a lot like places I already saw in Europe but it is truly an amazing place to see. The fact it’s in Granada makes it that much more appealing b/c it’s a great city to visit!

So I have a very strong liking of Islamic art, but even having lived in the Middle East didn’t prepare me for this experience. Stunning, awe-inspiring, just fabulous. Grenada is really great too, charming and mellow, and a lot to do too. Hoards of toursist will block good camera shots of the Alhambra, but … wow.

One of my favorite places in the world I have ever been.

Really, I was entranced for hours.

make sure you go in the correct entrance, my friend i accidently went in the wrong one, and couldnt get into the buildings we wanted to. then when we asked for help we got in big trouble. oops.

I learned about The Alhambra in my high school Spanish class and have always wanted to see it firsthand.

This place is breathtaking. I didn’t take too many pictures while I was there, but the mental images will stay with me forever.

The Alhambra is, by far, my favourite place in the world. I was only here for a day when I was 14 but it made an incredibly strong impression on me. Moorish architecture at its most elegant, and how could you not get lost in the calligraphy and the gardens and the arcades…

or you’ll miss the gardens. what an amazing place….
well worth the effort to visit. whne you aarive in spain book before you go( you can) as you have set time to viist certian parts of the Palace, if you book can be there longer…..
