Hot Springs

I am visiting my sister as I hoped I would. I am glad I came, and would definitely come back. What a great spa city! The steamy water comes right out of the ground, and most of the old bathhouses on bathhouse row are no longer in operation, but open to the public for tours.

smells like eggs!! but they have a great Blues club there that serves the best Rum Punches!!!!

We went to Hot Springs for a day trip when I was in high school, took a ride on the Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat. That was fun.

I would really love to go back to Hot Springs and experience more of it that I didn’t get to do the last time I was there.

Surprisingly green and lush. I enjoyed walking around the town and looking at the old bath houses. I believe they said President Clinton spent his high school years here.

My husband and I eloped here! We were married on the Belle of Hot Springs.

But seriously, who goes to Arkansas to get married?? LOL (besides me, of course!!)

OK im just biased. I grew up here. But I love it with all my heart. Most of its treasures you will never discover with just a daytrip or a tour guide. You have to be young, innocent, and filled with adventure.

Hot Springs is one of my favorite places in the world -mostly because of all the good times I’ve had there. If you’re around in October check out the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival at the Malco theater, and pick up some fried pickles from Maggie’s pickle cafe’.

...and I hope to go visit her sometime between Christmas and New Year’s. She is expecting twins, and I want to go stay with her and help her out with the babies once they are born.

I have lived in Arkansas my entire life. I love it here. But I have yet to visit Hot Springs. Pretty Sad huh? I hear it is beautiful their. I will go one day I hope.
