A nice place to live, big enough to have some nightlife, small enough to have affordable houseing.

come in mid-october to early november, and drive down Officer’s Row in Vancouver.. its right next to ‘downtown’. it’s one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen. Kiggins theater – shows double features for cheap $$... Who Song & Larry’s restaurant.. its great mexican food, great atmosphere – the people are funny and like to sing, and a great view of the columbia river… if you come in early nov., go see a CYT show at the Columbia Arts Center on Evergreen Blvd., they’re really good.. the youth theater group in Vancouver, and they do Broadway shows – admission is between $5-7. uh… what else?... look out in downtown Vancouver for a hot dog vendor.. just a little stand.. it has really good hot dogs! and then people like to check our Ft. Vancouver… which, i guess, IS pretty cool.. i am just bored w/it by now!! haha. um. those are prolly the best things to do. and go to portland – shop on 23rd. woohoo! and the troutdale outlets, down in Oregon – like 40 mins from Vancouver. yup!

grew up there. sprawl. sprawl sprawl. and with sprawl comes too many churches, wal-mart and horrible traffic.

If you are in Portland, this is a nice place to go across the bridge and eat. There are several restaurants in downtown Vancouver as well

Lived here have my life. I left for about a year and i came back because while it is a small town its still home and i love every bit of it.

I visited, enjoyed it so much, I moved here!! Nice, town, growing rapidly…. Beautiful scenery….. Close to Portland,OR (across the Columbia River with view of the Gorge) but without the hassle of big city- not enough land or road
life…. with plenty of room to grow… all the lastest everything is readily available and parking isn’t a problem…. love it here

I’m Live in Vancouver, wa most of my life.. It so sos Pretty town but bity bored..

I live here because of my job. Urban sprawl is the buzz word. It is a city that refuses to acknowledge it is a city, trying to hold onto a ‘small town’ mentality. They plow down orchards and pop up subdivisions. They recently put in a trail, which is nice, but the constant expansion keeps everyone at arms length of each other. It isn’t a community. It is a place to live.
