Not worth visiting!
The last time I went to this place
...was to stop at the Del Taco on the Richards Blvd exit returning to Sacramento from San Francisco. I can’t imagine what else I would stop for.

Ive lived here since I was 5. Its a nice place but their is not much to do. You could go the the farmers market/park. You could shop, watch a movie, hang with friends, or grab a bite downtown. You could go to UCDavis and learn or hang out on campus with friends or alone and grab a bite. You can live in a house or apartmet. If your visiting hang in a hotel. You could go to school and play with friends. You could do stuff that you could do in any other town except go to UCDavis. It is peaceful here but at the same time borring.

I grew up here in Davis. Actually, I went to the university. I rode my bike a lot and had a great time. If I ever get a job at the Sacramento Bee, I would like to live here.
My favorite place to go eat in Davis is the Nugget Market. Trust me, this place is totally worth it. The Davis Co-op was also very great too. And the Old Teahouse still has the best tapioca in my personal opinion.

How can Davis possibly suck as bad as it does?
The world may never know.

I love Davis. This place is pretty great, everyone’s friendly and the biking thing is cool. Summers get really hot, but fall is great, and so’s spring, nice time to take a nap on the quad =) I love the small-town atmosphere.

I’ve lived in Davis all of my life. Yes, it has it’s faults (tends to be “boring” for the more adventurous, high cost of living, “stuffy” liberal elitists, etc.), but so does any town. I am one of the few teens that grew up in Davis that still loves it (though you have to take into consideration that a lot of people come back to raise their families). It’s a beautiful small town: quiet, safe, and close enough to bigger cities and attractions to keep things interesting. In ten years or so, I’m hoping to have enough money to buy a house in Villiage Homes to come back and raise my own family. What can I say? I’m a small town girl, and Davis is perfect for me

It’s a nice flat, open place to ride your bike, a good respite from the Bay Area for a day.

Davis is a great place to live but I don’t really think of it as a travel destination since you have Tahoe, San Francisco, and wine country within an easy drive. Davis does not compare. Although the Mondavi center would be worth while.

Davis is (nearly) my home town. Boyfriend lives there, parents work there. I miss it.
