The last time I went to this place

We rented a small cabin for 50 dollars for 2 nights. We had loads of fun. I slept in a sleeping bag while we all sang songs.
As far as tourism, my favorite part is taking photos of the mountains and other scenery, but walking the downtown streets is a blast. If you have children there is a great educational toy store called The Three Bears and there is also a little park that’s fun for adults and kids alike. The park has go-carts for different ages, bumber boats and miniature golf.
And of course there’s always the casinos and race tracks.

A tip I have about this place

If you go with your family and need a lot of space, stay at the Overlook Estates. It’s run by a nice family and the condominiums are big and slightly bizarre. We were surprised by the living room decor, but it makes for an interesting story.

Lovely place. A good place to buy jewelry. Much cheaper than in Santa Fe.

Nice Town

I’ve spent a couple of weeks there. It’s a nice town. If you like to gamble, go to horse races, ski, or play golf, I’d recommend it. I don’t do any of those things, but the downtown area is a fun place to wander and shop. There are several great places to eat, and some art galleries I’d recommend. Stay at the Super 8 Hotel and tell Rick I sent you!

The scenery is in the area changes mile by mile, and is all nice. Go to Lincoln, NM when you’re in the area and look around there. It is where Billy the Kid lived and the buildings are very old.
