Vancouver Aquarium

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Aquarium

The Vancouver Aquarium is certainly the best aquarium in region. I was a bit dissapointed as I was expecting more based on the high price of admission. The dolphin and beluga shows were each less than 10 minutes long.

holy mackerel

Actually, it was the sturgeon. Holy crap it was big.

They have (had? It’s been awhile…) a very friendly beluga whale there.

Yearly Memberships

I recently bought me and my boyfriend a Yearly Membership. I was very suprised at the price of it, $44 a person.

I love visiting here at all times of the year, I love watching the Belguas, and the Seals underwater.

My fave memory from there would be when I would go for Over Night Sleepovers with Girl Guides. Such an amazing experience, waking up next to the beluga tank.

I Heart Beluga Whales.

Even if that was all they had, it would be more than enough.

A much better value for your money than the Seattle aquarium.

Vancouver Aquarium

Worth visiting!

Totally worth every penny.

Awesome. It’s really fun, and cool.
My aunt and uncle got married there.
I fed seals there.
It’s really a great place.
There are (or at least used to be) coupons for it in the Vancouver phone book.

They used to know me

When I was very young, we used to live in an apartment building just off of Denman, perhaps a 20 minute walk from th Aquarium. We had a yearly family pass, and went so often that the staff knew me by name.

And I even almost become a marine biologist, before I figured out it’s not all just swimming with dolphins.
