Greektown

A little something that most people don’t know. You can validate your parking ticket in the casino and parking is free. I don’t gamble, but I go in the casino because it’s worth it, especially staying over night.

While there, make sure to visit the Astoria Bakery-great napoleons, baklava, ice cream and cheesecake!

I went to eat at one of the many restaurants after my high school’s homecoming dance. It was pretty good.

I love love love Greektown, especially Mosaic. It is one of the places I miss most about Detroit.

I was in undergrad down for the greek festival, drunk and losing money in the slots, but I saw a few local celebs and I yelled OPA! at D-12, lol.

The food was delicious, the restaurant ambiance was fun, and they lit a cheese dish on fire. Dude, can you ask for anything more? :)

I went to this pizza shop, not sure of the name, it was great! I’d love to go back just for that.

Greektown has so many good restaurants it’s ridiculous! The casino is cool too, plus there are a lot of bars in the area that I like.

Greektown has it all. the best casino, fun bars, great restuarants and amazing deserts!
