Bachelor's Grove Cemetery

Strangely, I grew up less than a mile from Bachelors Grove but never went there so I figured why not?

We went through it a couple of weeks ago.wasnt scary because it was day time. it was nice and calm. Kind of sad. This scary guy was there stealing the change people leave on the graves. He was the scariest thing there. We hiked a lil further but didnt see the house foundation,maybe next time.

my husband walked through the entire place about a month ago,he video taped it on our cell phone,it’s about 10 minutes long,I’d love to post it for everyone but I’m not sure how…..if any knows a way,let me know….the tape is fast and blurry but it’s still great!

I’ve been here before with my friend and her aunt. It wasn’t freaky like they say it is. The lake is like, bottomless. If you throw a rock in, it never stops. It’s cool. It’s fun taking pictures and hiking in the woods behind. We walked and found like basements of old houses and front steps and things like that in the woods behind. It was fun.

I go here whenever I want to feel calm. It can be pretty freaky, but well worth it. Just be careful, not just of the cops!

They say this cemetary is one of the most haunted in the chicago area. We didn’t see any ghosts when we went, but we did get some creepy feelings while we were there
