William J. Clinton Presidential Library

After the way he’s acted recently, I no longer have any desire to ever go to the Clinton Library.

This is the fifth presidential library that I’ve been to, and it is by far the best. Lots of space to walk around. Plenty of places to sit and take a load off including a mock-up of the White House cabinet room (the Oval Office is off-limits, though.) Interactive screens are all over the place, giving everyone a chance to play with the technology without having to wait. An unexpected highlight was seeing a videotaped skit of Hillary Rodham Clinton starring as a Forrest Gump-like character.

I live in Arkansas and have my entire life. I have never been there and it is pathetic.

While the whole place obviously glorifies the Clinton years, the facts they present are undoubtable. I’ve been there three times now and encourage everyone who visits Little Rock to head here first. Like any museum, avoid weekend afternoons and expect a bunch of screaming kids during weekdays.

Made me proud to be an American.

I went here after taking the Bar exam. There was a dandy little movie at the beginning narrated by Clinton where he talked about his life and his experiences in the White House. It was downright homey.
