Alamogordo

Will be moving there in August! Am soooo excited, I can’t wait! I love the pristine vistas, the wildlife and habitats that I’ve only ever seen in books, and how my husband just glows in his natural setting. Can’t wait to get there.

If you need just one reason to go to Alamogordo, I was born here. If you need two reasons, because it’s a beautiful, wonderful place. Make sure you visit the white sands and look up toward the mountains where you see the figure of a woman lying down. Oh, yeah. And visit the grave of my little sister who died before I was ever born. I lived here for approx 2 years.I was stationed in the air force.There was NOTHING to do here.We went to Mexico to have fun.The only good thing was …hmmm. cant think of anything.

I used to go here a lot as a kid, it was a nice area.

Definitely worth visiting, for the scenery alone. Friendly locals and a beautiful backdrop make this town worth it!
