Ft Huachuca

this place sucks so bad, soldiers would rather be in Iraq!

I forgot why I added this to my list – maybe I’ll add it back later when I remember!

I forgot why I want to go here – I changed my mind – for now.

I went here for AIT. It gets damn cold at this place. Not worth going to if you don’t need to.

I went here to see my boyfriend graduate from AIT. Not particularly a place to visit if you don’t have a reason to, but for me it was certainly an exciting trip, having never been to Arizona. Not to mention that I hadn’t seen him for about six months at that point.

If you’re looking for big city excitement, you need to go somewhere else, because Fort Huachuca doesn’t have it, and neither does the town outside the gates, Sierra Vista. However, if you like the idea of easy access to some great restaurants and a ten minute drive to some great Arizona towns (like Tombstone), then you’d enjoy our area!

Based on my single visit (for a judo tourny), I’d say, I’ve seen all of Ft. Huachuca I need to.
