Lake Havasu City

The London bridge, dismantled and flown to be reasembled over a man made body of water in the middle of a desert is not what most people think about when they hear the term “London Bridge” .... the replacement London Bridge (I travelled across it in London) is no more spectacular…. but oh that Tower Bridge… worth travelling any distance to cross

I go here every Feb. to record fireworks shows with my husband. It’s a little wierd though—the London Bridge in the middle of the desert with kitschy light houses, a man made lake surrounded by non-native palms and touristy Southern-style river paddle boats . . .

I enjoy it here, its a small town thats getting bigger all the time but i like the fact that i’m only 2hrs from Las Vegas and 5hrs from my family and I’s future home San Diego!

The biggest cigar boat you’ve ever seen pulls up next to your dinky sea ray. As the sleaziest fu manchu’d, sunburned muscle man you’ve ever seen brings the boat to rest, three ladies wriggle from their sweaty seats into the cold water to drink and smoke. Their just-barely cracking skin is no match for your inebriation.
