Skyline Chili

Have a 3 way or 4 way. I prefer the 4 way, but drop down to a 3 if you don’t like raw onion.

Skyline is the BEST chilli ever! trust me on this!

Wow! This is a very different chili with a very very great new taste. I would highly recommend the 3-way and cheese coneys!

I live in NYC now, and one of the biggest things I’ve missed is Skyline. I worked at one for a couple years in high school and I’m still not sick of the food. I even emailed them and asked them to build one in here. They said no. I have however managed to duplicate their delicious chedder cheese.

We try to go at least once a week. We love it!

I recommend Skyline to visitors, because I’ve had the pleasure of introducing the beauty of a 3-way to a few people and seen them experience the joy for the very first time. [I’ve waited so long for a good opportunity to work in the obvious innuendo of the delicious chili/spaghetti/cheese combo that is a 3-way]. Then my visitors know, why I must go there everyday, sometimes twice a day each time I visit my hometown. Then they understand why the canned stuff isn’t nearly as good, but it’s still better than an un-coney world in between my visits. I recommend this place, because I was hooked from the first time my parents brought home coneys after their “date night”. And those oh so buttery delicious oyster crackers . My husband and I now have a tradition of getting coneys on the way out of town, preferably while on the Anderson Ferry headed toward CVG.

I have lived in Cincinnati for a lot of years. So yeah I have eaten at Skyline plenty of times. I now live in another city in Ohio and there are Skyline Restaurants here as well. I love the 5 ways and the Vegetarian 5 way.

yummy! The atmosphere reminds me of the Waffle House here in the Carolinas.

If you’ve never had Cincinnati Chili, you must have it. It is very different and delicious. I get the spice packet and make it at home with tvp so this vegan can still enjoy the flavor I grew up with.

If you’re going to Skyline for the first time, the traditional thing to order is a 3-way and one cheese coney. Don’t be afraid to try some of the non-chili stuff on the menu, though. Their potatoes are pretty good!
