Times Square

I visited NYC a few years ago. Of course it’s worth visiting, the site seeing is amazing. I love the buildings and I personally thought the ads and billboards were really pretty. How could you run out of things to do in Time Square?! I was walking around and heard screaming, only to look up and see Queen Latifah waving from the window of the TRL building. I thought that was awesome.

i loved the hustle and bustle. everything intersects here. i love it. you gotta go here, atleast once to experience it.

It’s like you haven’t been to NYC if you’ve never passed by Times Square. All trains pass by Times Square-42nd Street station, so you might as well hop off and walk around this intersection.

The lights are brilliant. It gets overcrowded during rush hour and weekends, though.

I went for New Years Eve 2006. Froze my B*tt off. My tip? wear warm clothes! Had a blast though.

Was anybody there for the simulcast of the Metropolitan Opera’s opening night performance of Lucia di Lammermoor last night? Here in L.A., we tuned into the Met channel on Sirius and settled in to enjoy just the audio. But the emcee kept mentioning the simulcast to Times Square and the Lincoln Center Plaza. As the prelude started, my Beloved said, “Certainly there’s a webcam at Times Square!” Within seconds on the laptop, we found the camera that is aimed at the giant screen there and for 4 hours, we watched the simulcast as a series of jerky stills. What a hoot! Next year, it will be the occasion for a PARTY!

even at 3 o’clock in the morning this city is beautiful, pacing and full of life. time square is the focal point of stlye civilaization and the industrial beauty that is western culture.
