How this place changed my life
I was born in Richmond! But, we moved when I was only 8 months old, so I don’t remember it at all.

Richmond smells like hot, wet, canned dog food.

I didn’t really like Richmond, and had to live there for 4 years going to Earlham. The high points were really the people at Earlham- maybe it was a good thing that Richmond was boring, because it forced us to be very creative…. I go back to Richmond now three years after graduation only to visit a friend who works at Earlham now. I think I’d go for reunions… but not for any other reason.

There are a couple good restraunts in town, a downtown that has been renovated by an overzealous Mayor. The history of Richmnond is fascinating. If you are into jazz, you might really like it, esp. the Charlie’s coffee house.

I went to college in Richmond. God, it’s a depressing town.

I end up going to Richmond, IN for 9 or so months every year for school (Earlham College.) It’s an interesting, if kind of cloistered place. Interesting streets, but not worth more than a two or three day visit if you’re looking for interesting things, I think.
The college, on the other hand, is quite fun.

I had a good time there, but it may be an acquired taste.
