I can’t believe they got away with selling bottle water for $1.75

honestly, i didn’t expect to pay 8 bucks for a zoo, but it was fun. i enjoyed watching monkeys coming out in the rain to hit the geese (ducks?), and seeing those colorful animals i thought only exist in animations.

yes, it is smelly, in case that would bother you.

great for families. very cool to see polar bears in the middle of the city. haha

For $8 this is by far one of the best deals in the city. It’s not very big – it’s a great size to do in an hour or so, and the petting zoo is a lot of fun for kids… and adults :-)

It’s a smaller zoo and doesn’t have too many animals. But I enjoyed seeing the animals that were there.

It’s really nice and the rain forest was really amazing…

smaller than the bronx zoo, but right in the heart of manhattan! it’s such a fun place to spend a spring or summer day. i highly reccomend checking it out. i have so many fond memories of this place from when i was a kid—it’s great for children & adults alike. :]

The zoo was probably my kid’s favorite part of the weekend we spent in NYC. There’s the regular zoo, with polar bears, penguins, bats, and red pandas (among others) and there’s the children’s zoo with things to climb on and farm animals to feed. It’s really a perfectly sized zoo: a lot of different animals to see, but not so big that it feels like you’ve been there for days in an effort to see them all.

did you know thier fur is transparent & just reflects the color of their skin? Well you would if you visited the Central Park Zoo.
