Big Ben is much more beautiful in person than in pictures.

nice place to visit.. i was walking down the westmister abbey when i saw a group of people standing near an iron gate and clicking pics, i went close and found it was 10 downing street. along the way i came across trafalgar square..

I am just an Anglophile. Can’t explain it. Just am. I hope I can live in England, even just for a few months. Maybe I can take an course to learn “real” English since I currently speak American! : )

Not as big as I imagined

It’s so iconic – on my first visit to London, I don’t think it really hit me that I was actually there until I turned a corner, and there was Big Ben. And every other time I’ve been to London, I still get a thrill out of seeing it. I feel a bit dorky because of it, but I can’t help it. It’s a gorgeous landmark, well worth taking the time to see.

I had a wonderful chat with a policeman in front of Big Ben, and the same Christmas Tree I see here on someone’s entry. He was warm, as were all the Londoner’s I met! Big Ben is actually the name of the bells, not the clock.
