I grew up in Kalispell, living there from 1988 to 1998. It is a beautiful place to visit, especially if you like the outdoors, and it’s an easy drive to a TON of lakes, a skihill, fishing, boating, hiking, and a beautiful national park.
Stay here, but I’d have to say that I’ll never LIVE here again. Visits are always amazing, though.

We stopped over one night on the way to British Columbia in Canada. Enjoyed the place as it was cheap quiet and pleasant. Made me want to visit more towns like this.

I grew up in a tiny town north of Kalispell, so whenever we had to do any serious shopping like tractor repair parts, or new school clothes, or doctors or dentist we went to Kalispell. Its changed some since I grew up but is still a nice town.

I grew up in Kalispell, but a lot has changed. It certainly has grown. People who like the outdoors will love it most of all. It’s right near the gorgeous Glacier Park and the popular Big Mountain ski resort. Natives fish, hunt, ski, camp and hike. Don’t expect much of a night life, though.

We just stayed in Kalispell one night when I was younger. There wasn’t much to do but the people were friendly and places to stay were inexpensive.
