Eat chicken n waffles!

this has made me want chicken and waffles at least once every 6 months.

however, it has not been for the good.

i saw the late johnnie cochran here.

i was waiting by the locked men’s room, awaiting the occupant so i could wash my hands. when the door opened, cochran stood before me, and we awkwardly tried to switch places in a rather narrow bottleneck.

when i went in to the restroom, it smelled awful.

Chicken: good. Waffles: good. Chicken and waffles on the same plate: excellent. Don’t knock it til you try it!

Damn good and worth all the hype. Oddly enough I ended up without waffles on my dish, but the grits were excellent and I wasn’t complaining (chicken of course fabulous and the biscuit great). Good atmosphere, relaxed and great food = brilliance. Hope to check out the Long Beach one next.

Was the first time and I had just given birth to my daughter. It was the middle of the night and my mother in law was visiting. My husband and I went out for a late night date and grubbed down on the YUMMIEST combo out there! Something about the waffles was different, cinnamon I think. Try it for sure!!!

ALL i kept hearing was….You got to go to Roscoe’s Chicken N Waffles. I was like.. who in the heck would want to eat Chicken N Waffles? But, to my suprise.. I have to say…It was goood! And they sell waaaaay more then just Chicken N Waffles.

... just thinking about it. Damn, I’m hungry now.

Great food!

I’ve been here so many times… And they have good service… or so I always got good service there… The waffles are the best… and the chicken is the business… I like the atmosphere everytime I go… I think i may go some time soon…

Of the 5 locations of this Los Angeles chain, I recommend the Long Beach location. It’s always clean and never crowded, and the service is excellent (Dwight and Eric, HOLLA!). To all newcomers, I recommend you try out #13, the Carol C. special, a waffle and a succlent fried chicken breast. The yams and macaroni and cheese are also worthy sides.
