Peak District National Park

It’s more of a technicality that I’ve been to the national park, since I didn’t do any hiking in it. Looks pretty, what I did see though.

I spent a lot of my childhood hiking and camping on the peaks as a scout, I love this place.
Its a beautiful, moody, dramatic, everchanging and inspiring place.

My family and my roots lie in this beautiful region. It’s one of my favourite places in the world and although my family lives in the industrial urban core of Sheffield you can quickly get out of that, and escape into torrid, moody green hills synonymous with the Peak District! This place is WELL WORTH IT!

Went here recently on a photography course with ‘Peak District Photography’. It’s beautiful, especially during autum/winter.

visiting…Very beautiful and there are lots of stone circles to be discovered.

I did several caving trips in Peak District area. Very cold water, specially at christmas. Love to do that again.

The Peak District in Northern England lies mostly in Derbyshire but also includes small areas of Staffordshire and Cheshire. It consists of upland areas having plenty of moorland, parkland and rocks. See Peak District on Wikipedia
