Bemidji

I’m moving here in one month and one day. I am nervous and excited.

Summer 2004 my family went up there for a family reunion. It was pretty cool.
I bought my watch at the downtown Walmart Supercenter. :P

I can’t describe to you how beautiful this place is in the summer. When I travel there from Los Angeles it seems like I’m wearing glasses because everything is so crisp, clean, and breath takingly beautiful. The Mississippi begins just a few miles North of Bemidji.

I went to language camp in the area, and it was beautiful in the summer—may have been even better without all the mosquitos…

I’m getting all my medical records and accounts transfered to Bemidji now.

Spent a month here one week.
Nice cabin on a lake (they have a few lakes in Minnesota), did some fishing. No TV or radio or Internet. There was a TV in the main store at the campsite. We did take in a couple of NBA finals games – my Nets lost.

BTW, the campsite is only open in the summer. Owner told me it would be too dangerous in the winter. Apparently, you can die in the winter if your car breaks down on the way to work! I thought it was cold in Delaware.
