Prospect Park

I remember feeding the ducks and watching the swans. The little paddle boats that you had to peddle like a bike. The volley ball park, the festival, the two play grounds (the small one and the big one).So much memories.

It’s been so long, I can’t remember the last time I was there. But it’s not too far from where I live, and I would like to go back and rediscover the park all over again.

Even the park’s been “renovated” some—it looks a bit more green-wise uncontrolled, usually smells simply wonderful, always displays a color breadth

It taught you alot about what life is like in a refugee camp – minus the smells, flies, diseases, threat of war, fear, and for that matter, refugees. Still, it was really interesting.

It’s great for all ages. Lots af rlaygrounds for little kids. Great place for everyone to hang out. Many things to do here

all the best parks in the city are in brooklyn, the parks in manhattan are usually overcrowded

My mother, stepfather and I would go to Prospect Park several times a month during the summers that I would visit them in Brooklyn. We lived within walking distance on Hawthorne St, right off of Flatbush Ave. I had my first picnic here, that’s why I love picnics. I learn how to ride a bike and roller skate in this park. It’s also the first time I almost go robbed. I said almost. I’ve been fishing in Prospect Park. I’ve seen some really bad fights in Prospect Park too. I fell down and cut my hand in Prospect Park and had to get stiches for the first time at Kings County Hospital. Prospect Park holds at lot of memories

and i’m not the only one who thought so. even the designers of prospect park, Olmstead and Vaux, thought of Propsect Park as their finest work of art. it’s truly an incredible space, though not on the scale of Central Park nor of their other sites across the country.

prospect park is very beautiful and sacred place to visit….I go here all time time since i live right across the street from here….i visit the zoo all the time with my kids and visit the ice skating rink to. My son espeacially love the carosal and the row boats!!! I also admire the beautiful waterfall..where mark anthony shot his video!!! Iv also been to the circus in prospect park “when i was a child though” looking forward to taking the kids soon!!!
