Fort Walton Beach

im from a small town 50 miles north of fort walton beach but i visit everyday, i work out there near the mall, and i have lots of friends all over the panhandle, i grew up in freeport , its a beautiful place to vacation or even a road trip, our community is very patriotic we belive in our american heroes and we proudly support them.

I went to Fort Walton Beach back in May. I had an absolute blast! It was the first time I had ever been to the beach. We couldn’t get in the ocean because there was red flags all week, although that didn’t stop some people. The beaches are beautiful though. I spent a whole week on the beach from about 7 a.m. til about 5 p.m. I can’t wait to go back.

Me and my girlfriends went here to visit out pal mike at eglin airforce base. We stayed on base and it was nasty-cockroaches, small,smelly and just nasty. When we finally had enough we stayed at the Ramada on the beach-teriffic! AND it has a swim up bar and its write on the beach.

I like the sands.

Tracked me down in TExas!!! I visited a couple of times, and we both were like ahhhhhh what the heck and i moved there. I live with her and her husband!!! It’s crazy…oh and the best part they are expecting their first baby and I get to be the nanny!! Rock on!

One of my fraternity brothers was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in 1973, so I went there to visit him after graduation. We wenting boating on a lake somewhere to the north and I got my first opportunity to waterski. The Air Force Armament Museum is located near Fort Walton Beach. Nice coastline too.

I went to Ft Walton Beach and managed to loaf the entire time! The beach there is WHITE (unnatural!) and the sea is green. The food there is amazing and the people are wonderful! (Especially my friends, whom I stayed with!) For a girl from Oregon, it was a very interesting first trip to the Southern part of the US!

I was here when I was stationed at nearby Eglin AFB. Great place if you’re single, but not sure if I’d want to raise a family here.

My parents lived in Ft. Walton Beach for several years. Can’t say that I ever lived there since it was only between semesters (maybe a month at a time) that I was there.

Pretty beaches… worth a visit, but wouldn’t want to live there.
