Silver Spring

hometown!

My dad was born/raised here; that’s the only experience I have with the place.

Although. Bill Callahan was born here, so the place must be doing something right.

I lived here for 10 years. I like it better than where I live now, but it’s not somewhere to visit for sight seeing or anything. Maybe if you live in Montgomery County it’s fun, but don’t bother coming from California unless you have family there.

The first time I was here was the first day of my life. The first hour. The first minute. The first second. This is where I entered the world.

We came to Silver Springs to attend my husband High School Reunion. We had so much fun!

Was in Silver Spring, MD back in the day so I know it’s changed since then but… I know that Maryland if off the chain when it needs to be. Went to the GO-GO a few times to see Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers at the Black Hole on Georgia Ave. I’ll go back one day and kick it there too. I think my baby Momma (Ahniluv is from the MD / DC area) ...Holla @ NEO

Lots of great chinese food.

i grew up here. the downtown area has greatly improved.

I currently work here. While it’s a nice place-rather cute for a small city-it’s a suburb in my book. And I’m awfully tempted to call it a part that DC “forgot” to annex ;)
