Busch Stadium

They tore this sucker down after the 2005 season. The Cardinals will play in their new stadium in 2007.

I’m a huge Cardinals fan and can’t wait to see new Busch completed. Old Busch had a great atmosphere, but let’s face it, it was a big bowl of concrete and wasn’t the nicest thing to look at architecturally.

From my first “real” boyfriend taking me here to see the Cardinals loose that night 13 years ago. To company passes with previous jobs. I have visited the stadium many times and to see it come to an end is very sad.

I am looking forward to making new memories at the new one.

Hurry before they tear it down!

I was lucky enough to go to one of the last regular season games at Busch Stadium just this past weekend.
There were a lot of former players there for the final games. Lou Brock, Willie Magee, Mark McQuire and many many more. Several of them did interviews between innings.
I have been to several games at Busch Stadium but that game was very special.
I hate to see Busch Stadium getting torn down. I love the arches around the top. Although I will miss going to Busch, I hope I get to go to many more games in the new Stadium next season.

i dont like that they are tearing down busch stadium and i didnt get to go to it the last season :-(
