Home of football club AZ. Great places to go out. And a big shopping centre with lots of stores to buy whatever you want.

If you want to go to Alkmaar, you better do it on Friday. The city itself is nice, but the cheese market on Friday makes it more special. There you can see people demonstrating how the cheese being bargained and sold.

Not far from the cheese market there’s a cheese museum where you can see the history and development of cheese making in Holland.

If you want to see the cheese market please come on Friday in the summer.

I like to come here for shopping….

I don’t really like it…but of course that is because I’ve been in places I liked more…Spain, California…

i spent two summers here and absolutely love it.

Pretty town, with old buildings, nice surroundings, and a good number of windmills :-)
Oh well, and you should not forget to see the Cheese Market!
