Foster Brook Trail

There’s a really nice little campsite on the Foster Brook trail. It’s out in the woods next to the water. It’d be a lot of fun to go there with a few friends. The outhouse is so so so gross though so bring some tp and head on into the woods. It takes about an hour to hike into the trail, so I would suggest doing this later in the day as there isn’t much to do at the campsite.

The last time I went to this place

Love the trails, the entertainment (Isaac & Blewett playing their music with photographs from Brian Townsend in the background), the camping, the salt-water pool, the waterfalls, the playground..

Great place to visit

Fundy is a great place to check out. We get there at least 2 or 3 times each summer. My absolute favourite thing to do there is walk on the ocean floor scanning for beach glass. When the tide is out you can walk for hours! My husband and daughter love to play the 9 hole golf course and we usually take in a dip in the salt water pool as well. Last summer we rented one of the chalets and it’s definitely something we’ll do again.

Fundy National Park

Camping in Fundy National Park is a great experience. There are three campgrounds and I stayed in the Point Wolfe campground which is located relatively deep within the park, close to the ocean. It’s the campground with the lowest temperature, which is good in the summer. You reach the campground by driving across a one-lane covered bridge that was built across the Point Wolfe river in 1992.
The hiking trails are great and well-marked. This was my first time hiking and camping in Fundy and I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place that has a range of camping, hiking, and accomodations. You can camp in hike in challenging conditions or close to showers and restaurants all in a well-preserved forest beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Fundy

Fundy National Park is located along the Bay of Fundy beside the village of Alma between the cities of Saint John and Moncton. The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world.
Many people camp in Fundy year-round and there are many activities at the park as well as a huge area to explore. There are over 100 kilometres of hiking trails.
I just made a reservation and I’ll be camping there with my son for a night next week. The weather is supposed to be nice and we’ll look at the ocean, do a bit of hiking and have a campfire.
