Deep Ellum

I live here! :)

Grew up around Dallas-Fort Worth, and did a project for my anthropology class in college on urban renewal going on in Deep Ellum.

This is where I fell in love with my husband!

I lived in Garland in 96 and went down to deep ellum all the time. I moved out of state several years ago . When I was in town in Jan. I wenT down to hang out , nowhere near what it used to be. Still worth a visit if your in town but nothing special these days from what I saw.

Good times had here. I loved the free concerts and the coffee bars a few years ago.

The best open mic I’ve ever been to was in Deep Elm. Best crowd ever.

Can’t wait to get back.

Some really great shows!!!! The best times in my life were spent in deep ellum :D

I ended up getting my tongue pierced and passing out in the tattoo shop.

My best friend and I were so excited we could get into Trees at 17. We thought we were so cool. Thanks for that, Deep Ellum!

serveral clubs along two streets. a nice of variety of music mostly beeing rock music. a lot of times they will have a special thing like on friday nights if you pay to get into one then you will be able get into most any of them.

side note it can be a little dangerous at times it is right downtown and its the bar district so be careful
