I’ve been to Juan les Pins several times (it’s actually where my boyfriend proposed=), and each time I discover something different. The embience of the town is amazing, and the nightlife is great.
Everything is within walking distance and it’s really easy to go on a day trip to Cannes, Nice or Monaco.

A review of this place

A nice old town to stop at on the way to Cannes. There is actually sand on the beaches too! The walk along the wall is great with the Mediterranean on one side and the medieval houses on the other.

I'm packing!

Just 48 hours, unfortunately, but the weather got gorgeous in the meanwhile and I may be able to swim for the first time this year! (yes, that made my summer 2006 really miserable)

A rumor about this place

They say that it’s going to host a mysterious Italian VIP next week.

(note to self: get new - bigger - shades and a large brim hat)

The first time I went to this place

I went here in April with a school tour and I loved it. Everything’s within walking distance, and we accumulated some really great memories while we were there. We had a small party on the beach one night (in April, I know) and had a paedophile try to pick us up, but I’d go back in a flash. If you visit, there’s a shop just off the centre of town called “Cache Cache”. Go there if you’re looking for different sort of clothes to take home.

A review of this place: Antibes - Great food, great scene

While the crowds are in Cannes and Nice hide away in Antibes and get the benefit of the Riviera without the traffic and headaches of the larger cities. Antibes is a delight to visit and having spent the afternoon there on a jaunt over from N. Italy, we vowed to spend a week there the following year.

The hotel we stayed at “Hotel Juana” was right in the center of the ville, had great access to the beach and restaurants and had an awesome chef.

Don’t miss the chapel in vence:

I lived here for six months while studying high school. It’s a little frenchy town, very pretty, close to the beach, close to Nice and Cannes, nice people, nice streets…
