Grand Teton National Park

I went there with my family this summer for the second time in my life. It’s a great park to see wildlife in. Yes, Yellowstone has wildlife too, but that park gets way too congested. Take hikes near secluded areas of water in order to better see wildlife.

When visiting the Grand Tetons I highly recommend staying at the Jackson Lake Lodge. The location is great – right in the middle of everything with easy access to the highway that leads you right into Yellowstone National Park. Also, when you visit, be sure to go to Jenny Lake Lodge for dinner one night. It is beautiful and the food is fabulous. A little pricy, but worth it. After dinner – walk over to the lake for some breathtaking scenery and a great Kodak moment!

Drop-dead gorgeous – but pay attention to the speedometer as you sightsee, because you will get caught!

Grand Teton National Park is absolutely beautiful…I have been there twice and can’t wait to go back. It truely is a place of amazing beauty and power. Both of my vists were during summer months but I really want to go back and ski sometime!

What an amazing place!

I go to jackson hole, wyoming every year to ski in Teton Village. First off, the skiing is out of this world! One summer, my family and I went there to the Grand Teton national park. What we saw there, is to great for words. Everywhere you turn, you feel that you HAVE to take a picture. By the time ur done, you have like 400 pics. on your camera. The wildlife there is incredible as well. There were a couple of cars parked next to the road and my fam. and I were wondering why. We parked our car too and went to where a group of people were standing. The were looking at a fully grown, adult male moose!!!!! It was just standing there eating grass, like this was normal to have people surronding it. Then, my fam. and I also went white water rafting! That was a blast! You could say that we got a little wet! We also hiked up one of the mountains. We would have made it to the top, if it hadn’t been for me. I was obbsessed with lip gloss when I was little and every like 2 minutes, I would tell my family to stop and I would take another 2 to finish putting it on!!! This happened along the whole mountaim hike, so we only made it like halfway!!! Anyway, I strongly reccamend going to the grand tetons if you are looking for adventure, skiing, hiking, watching wildlife (from a safe distance!), and filling up your camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3go on google and type in jackson hole or teton village for more info.

very pretty area

Until I had visited the Tetons, the mountains I was most familiar with were the beloved Cascades. The Cascades have some rolling foothills before they ascend to soft, rounded peaks. The Tetons blew me away by cracking the flat terrain around them before soaring to craggy, sharp peaks. Really amazing.
