The sands is beautiful.The water is so clean.
I really enjoyed it.

I was young and visited single.
excelelnt place to visit.

I just heard about the water splashing festival; Songkran that takes place in Pattaya in April. That looks like fun and those are definately some happy elephants.

It’s crowded and and quite sleazy. But I suppose, worth a stop if you are just going through.

The beach is a mixture of dirt and rubbish with some sand in it, and if you leave one foot on the pavement next to the beach and stretch real hard, you can probably touch the sea!

the place is nice and relaxing. alot of bars down a place called “the walking street” its mainly for single guys but its a nice getaway for couples to.I stayed at a resort called garden cliff resort. very peaceful and pretty.

Another side of pattaya, this beautiful hillside buddha engraving. Looks great from a distance and even close up :-)

It’s only worth visiting because of those nice guesthouses and hotels. Don’t ask about the beaches.

Interesting city, but not what it used to be. Satellite TV ruined the place. You used to be able to sit down and have some decent conversations with expats and regular visitors. I met mercenaries, gold smugglers, oil workers, sat divers, businessmen, con men, crooks, great people and terrible people. It was a gas.

If you can ignore the desperate old Brits and the pedophilic Germans walking around while holding the hand of a little Thai girl, this place is really fun. Nice food, decent beach, lots of entertainment, and a decent nightlife. The pubs are good. It’s like a European city made babies with a Thai city, and this is the offspring.
