The last time I went to this place

My friend Paul and his wife took me here for dinner. He has season tickets and likes to hang out here. We ate at TGI Friday’s, which overlooks the field.

BOB

It will always be BOB to me!

Same goes for their mascot. It’s BOB Cat, not bobcat.

Will always be BOB in my heart.

The best seats I ever had were in the J section behind home plate. We played the Reds and lost :( but it was a blast!! When they open the roof and the smell of a desert summer floats in and mingles with the sound of the fans cheering its almost heaven. Wait a minute! The beer guy just handed your ice cold beer and Gonzo smacked 3-Run tater—-ah, NOW it’s heaven.
With memories like this, there is no way I can call it “Chase Field”. No character.

Someday, I am going to work for this club. Accounting and baseball—can’t get better than that.

I love my Diamondbacks!

The open roof on a nice night, the beer garden, the team shop, the beer garden, Baxter and his t-shirt cannon. the beer garden, the right field bleachers by the pool, the beer garden, the fans … Did I mention the beer garden?

(singing) ” ... And you may call it Chase Field / But it’ll always be BOB to me! “

Counting the days ‘til baseball season!

"bob" or "the bob"?

It’s a personal pet peeve when announcers on television call Bank One Ballpark “The BOB,” mainly because, when I lived in the area, folks I knew just called it “BOB.” Anyone know which one is the “right” one?

Not that it matters, I guess, now that Bank One (the bank) has been bought out and the name of the stadium is up in the air.

Great stadium

Saw Randy Johnson pitch a complete game shutout there a few years ago.
