A review of this place: a bit overrated

But still worth the short trip if you’re tired of what the city of Prague has to offer.

It is described as a “church made of bones”, but to me the majority part is simply piles of bones (yeah… a LOT of them).

Creepy fun :) A bit of a walk from the train station, but we stalked a group of kids on a field trip until we got there. Be sure to take time to look at the cemetary outside, too.

A review of this place

This place is bizarre, but most definitely worth seeing! You truly need to go there to experience it as the documentaries which I’ve seen just don’t do it justice.

The coat of arms is very interesting and is not just made of ‘arms’ but legs, skulls and all other manner of human bones. An incredible work!

It's the Goth in me

I’ve been fascinated with this place ever since I saw a TV show about it. Definitely a side-trip that is a must.

wow

This was one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to.

Got there by train, took about 1-1.5 hours, and was quite pleasant.

Scoot there

Rent scooters in Prague and scoot there. It’s about 2 – 3 hrs by scooter.

Amazing!

I’ve seen this on the television a few times, but I think it has to be seen in person.

Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora

Although it may sound creepy, this is a really beautiful place and very respectful. The ossuary is decorated with the remains of about 40 000 people. The largest collections of bones are arranged in the form of bells in the four corners of the chapel.

Amazing. Truly worth the trek out of Prague for the afternoon.
