iloved it it was the best place to grow up, really active with ski-ing ice-skating bike riding tramping kayaking it was great. I’d love to go back and visit.

A beautiful stretch of landscape. I recommend everyone go here who visits New Zealand.

Definitely a tourist town, but if that’s what you are looking for it can’t be beat. I just got back from spending 4 days there. The activities we did were enjoyable, the town small enough to be easy to understand yet lively enough to keep you busy, and the scenery outstanding it really is the people that have me wanting to go back so badly. Next time I want to stay at least a few months! How I will work that out is yet to be known… :P

the best week of skiing i’ve ever had was in queenstown. just heavenly, anyone who skis or boards must visit, for the runs and the views and the awesome locals.

Similar to Interlaken in Switzerland, this is a great place to handglide, bungee, white water raft, etc, and then party at night!

Queenstown was blessed as Heaven-on-Earth. I couldn’t believe my luck to have been there! I flew in a little plane through the snow-covered mountains back to the town, after a boating trip on Milford Sound. It was sensational!

I want to go back to Queenstown, and live there. I’ve missed it so much :o(

I was there in February 2001 and will return later this month with a friend from CA who loves to bungy jump and river raft.
