Waterloo

Wnen I was younger I met a cool guy in Jacksonville Fl who went to my school. He was really funny and wittey. He had to move back to Canada to go to collage. He told me his e-mail adress, but I lost it. I would like to see what this place is like, because he was so intresting and he talked about this place alot.

liked a boy. didn’t like college. went to canada. really clean. nice people. good buffalo wings. i wouldn’t go back, personally, but didn’t suck.

For university. It is a nice city, very much a University town. Very quaint. I still go back once in a while. If you are going to visit you should check out Waterloo Park, and for entertainment go to Starlight lounge.

I live here, I go to the University here, and this fall I’m also working here. Tripple the fun!

There’s that weird fertilizers smell during summer, but it’s not that bad.

I chase geese around the campus. So funny.

The city stinks of fertizlier smell during the spring, summer and fall. It is part of the snowbelt so winters are harsher than those in Toronto. It is part of the tri-city with Kitchener and Cambridge and is arguably the technology capital of Canada. Waterloo has many high-tech companies and 2 well known univerities, Wilfrid Laurier and Waterloo. I am an alumni of the University of Waterloo. There is one sushi place that is still a personal favourite of mine with their unique beef sashimi. I haven’t found it anywhere else.

the company I work for is based here so I have been there a few times. Reminds me of most of the midwest. Sort of flat, lots of stripmalls, nothing terribly old. They do have a few good restaurants and they certainly have a vibrant technology industry but it’s definitely not my idea of a vacation destination.

Well, maybe I’m biased, but if you’re thinking of doing an engineering degree, you should probably go to the University of Waterloo. :)
